The month of march was a busy one. We are doubling our shop space. Not for increased volume but to keep the autos isolated so the steel work in steel room, prepping in prepping room ect. This is good keep the different proceedures seperate when involved in fine finishing. The three rooms that are the most exciting are the metal fabricating room, sand blasting room and the upholstry room. We will get good use of them all.
As well as buying extra equipment for the expanded space we purchased about three thousand books. The books are manuals and parts books for the old cars. No shortage of work sorting them out. Once organized we will be selling them.We had our first adventure with a van load of books at the last Red Deer swap meet and are sceduled to be at the next one as well. Could see you there.
We finished long blocking the Chevelle and will be putting in in final primer right away. The "T" will need a little caressing before it's at the same state. We hope to start the Cougar this month as well. I am very excited to get on that one. As a kid I knew a guy who had one and it left a big impression on me. It's a 1970 Cougar Eliminator and the owner like the Chevelle wants a high end finish. I love it when a customer challenges me to do my very best!
Well thats all for this month I hope your individual projects are doing well.
